Our Story
XtraPapers was founded in 2019 out of a simple frustration: finding well-organized past exam papers shouldn't be this hard. As IGCSE and A-Level students, we spent countless hours digging through scattered websites, broken links, and incomplete archives just to find the papers we needed to revise.
We knew there had to be a better way. So we built XtraPapers — a clean, organized, and completely free platform where students can find past papers, mark schemes, and examiner reports from major examination boards in seconds, not hours.
What started as a small project to help classmates has grown into a trusted resource used by students, teachers, and tutors worldwide. And we're just getting started.

Meet the Founder
David Torres — Founder & Lead Developer
David is a passionate technologist and former IGCSE and A-Level student who experienced firsthand the challenge of finding organized exam resources. After years of navigating scattered and unreliable websites during his own studies, he decided to build the platform he wished had existed when he was preparing for his exams.
With a background in web development and server infrastructure, David designed XtraPapers from the ground up — focusing on speed, simplicity, and free access for all. Today, he continues to maintain and improve the platform, driven by the belief that every student deserves equal access to quality study materials.

Our Journey
2019 — XtraPapers Is Born
Launched as a small project to organize CAIE past papers for personal use and share them with classmates.
2020 — Expanding the Collection
Added AQA, OCR, and CCEA exam boards. The platform grew to cover IGCSE, GCSE, AS, and A-Level qualifications.
2022 — Reaching Global Students
Traffic grew organically as students and teachers worldwide discovered the platform through word of mouth and search engines.
2024 — Platform Redesign
Complete redesign with improved navigation, faster search, and a mobile-friendly interface to serve students on any device.
2026 — AI Tutor & Blog Launch
Introduced the AI Tutor for interactive exam help and launched the blog with original study guides and educational content.
